The high-tech company, led by CEO Andreas Wieland, is investing approximately 35 million Swiss francs in the new Hamilton Ems AG building. Hamilton intends to primarily produce consumables for its own medical technology devices on the former sawmill site near the Domat/Ems motorway junction. The four-story, 10,000-square-meter new building will house approximately 100 people, primarily in the development, quality assurance, design, and machine maintenance departments. Construction has already begun, and occupancy of the high-tech building is scheduled for early 2018. Elektro Rhyner AG has been entrusted with the contract for all electrical installations, as well as control and network technology.
